The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop suggests a Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) reunion may be on the horizon.
Longtime viewers know Nick and Sharon have had a tumultuous history. They have two children together and have broken up and reunited many times. The last time they split, Sharon left him at the altar after she found out he’d cheated on her with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Y&R spoilers tease that during the September 9 episode, the former couple will give each other yearning looks, shortly after they sit down to discuss their relationships with Phyllis and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).
Y&R Scoop – He Clashed With Phyllis Summers At First
On Thursday, Nick will admit that he and Phyllis clashed when they first got back together. But once he decided to just let her be who she truly is they got more comfortable. “Phyllis and I are older and wiser now…it doesn’t have to be complicated,” he’ll tell Sharon.
When Sharon tells him she understands why he’d choose something easy, he’ll think she’s implying that he’s settling when it comes to Phyllis. “Okay, so you’re saying I’m looking for the path of least resistance?” Nick will reply. “It’s not real love and commitment?” But he’ll also point out that he could say the same thing about her relationship with Rey.
Sharon will tell Nick she’s wasn’t implying anything. She’s glad he got to the point with Phyllis where he’s happy. “Because that’s all that matters, that you’re happy.” However, little does Nick know, while he and Sharon are discussing his girlfriend, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be declaring his love to Phyllis.

Then Sharon will suddenly realize it’s getting late and she’ll ask Nick if he can help her close up the coffee shop. Nick will say sure, he’s helped her do it about a hundred times before. As they’re putting things away, Nick will stop and give Sharon a longing glance.
Then Sharon will peer over at Nick when he’s not looking. Are these two yearning for each other again? It sure seems like it. But are Y&R writers really considering reuniting Sharon and Nick?
