The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, September 28 reveals Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will figure out Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) are coming after Jabot.
Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will attempt to micromanage Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) personal life. Plus, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will return. And Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will celebrate his promotion with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Y&R spoilers tease Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will tell Nikki that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is hell bent on proving Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) isn’t fit to run Newman. “This is insane, she can’t do this,” Nikki will say. But Nick will wonder if there is cause for concern. Nikki will tell him Victor is as sharp as ever. But she thinks Victoria could stir up so much controversy it’ll cause Victor to take on even more work.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Audra Gets Ticked Off With Nikki
At Society, Chance will tell Summer she’s looking at the new chief of police. Summer will congratulate him and give him a hug. He’ll say he was hoping to celebrate with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), but she’s out of town. So, Summer will buy him lunch and they’ll celebrate together. Nick will eventually arrive and Summer will ask him how things are going with him and Sharon. “I really hope things work out for both of you,” she’ll say.
Nikki will arrive at the GCAC and she’ll narrow her eyes, when she sees Audra chatting with Tucker. “It is not in your best interest to have any relationship with that man,” Nikki will tell her, after he leaves. Audra will say they’re just casual friends. “Between your misguided affair with Kyle and your friendship with that man, I am starting to question your judgement,” Nikki will reply.
However, Audra will ask if she should present Nikki with a list of everyone she associates with so they can be properly vetted. “It’s starting to feel like you want to control every aspect of my life, professionally and personally.” But Nikki will say she’s only warning her about Tucker for her own good. Audra will add that she sees Tucker as a mentor and Nikki will ask if he’s still mentoring her now.
Meanwhile, Tucker will call Phyllis and she’ll tell him she wants her final payment, but he’ll say there’s been a slight delay. Billy will approach and ask her what’s going on. Phyllis will lie and say she just got rejected for a job. But Billy will tell her the timing must be tough, and he’ll ask how she’s going to pay off all her debts. He’ll also point out when her back is against the wall, she tends to make bad choices and he has a hunch she’s cooking something up with Tucker.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Tucker’s Warning To Phyllis
Afterwards, Phyllis will arrive in Tucker’s suite. He’ll be angry she didn’t transfer the money into Billy’s account. Phyllis will say she can trigger it to go anywhere as long as he pays her the rest of her money. So, Tucker will pay up and she’ll move the cash into Billy’s personal account. But he’ll give her a warning before she leaves. “If I go down, you go down and considering your recent history with the law, your downfall might be a little more permanent.”
Phyllis will head to the Jazz Club, make a call, and find out the money was transferred and she no longer owes the insurance company. Then Danny will walk up to the bar. “You look like you just lost your best friend,” he’ll say to Phyllis.
Finally, a Jabot assistant will show Jack a large bank transfer to a dormant account. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will ask who okayed it. “My brother,” Jack will reply. When Billy arrives he’ll deny it. “Somebody is setting it up to make it look like you’re embezzling money Billy,” Jack will say. “We have to figure out who that is before they hit us again.”
Then Jack will get an alert and discover the money has been transferred to another account. “Who could be doing this?” Diane will ask. “It’s Phyllis,” Billy will reply. “I saw her and Tucker together earlier and I saw something was going on. Phyllis and Tucker are working together to come after us and I have the feeling this is only the first shot.”
