The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop reveals Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) AA sponsor Seth (Brian Gaskill) may be too good to be true.
Seth came on the scene shortly after Nikki’s ordeal at the hands of Jordan (Colleen Zenk). Although he does seem to care about Nikki’s sobriety, could it just be an act? Does Seth have a nefarious motive, when it comes to Nikki?
It’s pretty obvious that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) doesn’t trust him at all. The Mustache appraised Seth when he first met him at Society. He looked him up and down and then narrowed his eyes after he left.

Victor also made his sentiments clear to Nikki, after she got sloshed and ended up in a suite at the GCAC. He asked his wife where Seth was when she started drinking again. “I just don’t have a good feeling about him,” Victor told her. “I think you need someone else to be your sponsor.” But is he right?
Then there’s the Jordan factor. The villain may currently be behind bars, but she’s as crazy and vicious as ever. And she’s still hell-bent on seeking revenge against the Newman’s, specifically Nikki.
“I have plans, just wait,” Jordan told Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) at the Oregon prison on Friday’s Y&R. “And now I have all the time in the world.” But do her plans include Nikki’s sponsor?
Young And The Restless Poll – Victor Has Picked Up A Bad Vibe
We don’t yet know enough about Seth to determine whether he’s earnestly trying to help Nikki keep her sobriety or if he could be a potential danger to her. But one thing’s for sure, Victor has clearly picked up a bad vibe about his wife’s sponsor, which could point to Seth being a bad seed indeed.
