Young And The Restless Scoop December 5: Nikki Gives Into Temptation – Claire Agrees To A DNA Test – Victor Tells Devon Nate Can’t Be Trusted

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, December 5 reveals Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will chug a shot of vodka.

Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will tell Devon Winters (Bryton James) that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is as ruthless as ever. Plus, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will have bad timing. And Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will agree to a DNA test.

Y&R spoilers tease Nate will run into Lily and ask if he’ll be coming back to Chancellor Winters. “We said we’re considering it, which is what we’re doing,” she’ll reply, adding that Devon is going to talk to Victor first. “What more do I have to do to prove to you that I’ve changed?” Nate will complain. But Lily will say the news about Newman Enterprises is troubling. “What was your true intent, was it really helping Victor, or was it helping Victoria get her old job back?” Lily will ask. “Be honest Nate, where was your strongest allegiance?”

Then Nate will spot Audra and they’ll head to the GCAC. He’ll whine that Lily and Devon might not take him back, because of what happened at Newman. But Audra will tell Nate to be honest with himself. “Stop playing the martyr,” she’ll say. “I think you’re being a bit disingenuous.”

At Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) place, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will tell her dad she wants to move in today. Once she heads to her room, Daniel will ask if Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) if she’s glad to be back. “Genoa City feels like home to me,” Heather will reply. She’ll tell him she couldn’t have done it without him and Heather will give him a hug, just as Lily walks in.

Meanwhile, Claire will be stunned to see Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) waiting for her in an Oregon police interrogation room. “I don’t understand, what are you doing here?” she’ll ask. So, Victoria will ask Claire how long she’s believed they were her parents. But Claire will ask what difference it would make. “We want to find out if maybe your story could be true,” Victoria will reply. “And if it is, then you’d be just as much a victim as we were.”

Victoria will tell Claire that in order for them to help her, they need some some answers. “Is it possible you were so under your aunt’s influence that you thought these terrible things needed to be done?” Cole will ask if Jordan (Colleen Zenk) programmed her. “I was five when Aunt Jordan first told me the truth about my parents,” Claire will reply.

“As I got older, she would remind me how lucky I was that she took me in when my parents didn’t want me.” Claire will continue that what she believed nurtured her resentment and pain. “I asked myself every day what could make my parents hate me so much that they never wanted to see me again.”

Young And The Restless Scoop – Consumed By Her Own Bitterness

When she went to an all girls school, the story was that her parents had been killed in a car accident. “But I was consumed by my own bitterness.” Cole will ask Claire how she feels now. “How could someone make up such a story?” she’ll reply. But Victoria will tell Claire she needs to find out the truth about who she really is. “Would you at least agree to a DNA test?” And Claire will say she’ll do it, if they agree to help her.

At the ranch, Nikki will tell Victor she heard him tell her to keep fighting and stay strong. Victor will say he’s concerned about her sobriety but she’ll tell him she’s going to a meeting. “I’m going to fight this with everything in me.” As Victor hugs her, Nikki will remember chugging the bottle of vodka, and she’ll stare at the liquor cabinet. She’ll head to bed for a nap and her phone will ring. It’s from an unknown number, and when she answers, she’ll hear stripper music playing.

Downstairs, Devon will show up and he’ll tell Victor he’s reconsidering bringing Nate back to Chancellor Winters. So, he wants to know why Victor fired him. “I’m sorry to have to tell you that your cousin can’t be trusted,” Victor will tell him. But Devon will say Nate claims to have changed. “He’s about as ambitious and ruthless as they come,” Victor will reply. However, Devon will say Nate told him it was a misunderstanding. “Don’t you trust that guy, I’m warning you,” Victor will reiterate.

Finally, Nikki will come downstairs and Devon will leave. Then Victor will say he’s heading to the kitchen. He’ll ask Nikki if she wants anything. “Mmm, yes,” she’ll reply. “Could you get me some tea?” But as soon as he leaves the room, Nikki will pour herself a shot of vodka and drink it thirstily.
