The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, May 6 reveals Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will make a confession to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants Jordan (Colleen Zenk) to drink herself to death. Plus, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will help out Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). And Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will catch up with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Y&R spoilers tease Victor will tell Nick that Jack almost killed his mother. He’ll describe what he saw when he found Jack and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). “He took some damn pills, some opioids,” he’ll add. “He collapsed and your mother called the paramedics.” Nick will tell him it must have worked, since his mom is in rehab. However, Victor will say she never should have chosen him as a sponsor in the first place.

After Nick leaves, Victor will head down to Jordan’s dungeon, with a big bottle of vodka. He’ll knock the bottle against the bars. Jordan will ask what she has to do to get out of there. “How much longer are you going to torture me?” she’ll ask. “What do you want from me?”
But Victor will tell Jordan he brought her a present and he’ll show her the bottle of vodka. “You’re going to drown yourself in alcohol, the way you wanted my wife to perish. So drink to your heart’s content, until you croak.”
At the GCAC, Phyllis will run into Summer and tell her she’s proud of her, she’s been so brave. But Summer will say she doesn’t feel very brave. She’ll add that she and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are looking for professional help for Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell). Then Sharon will walk in.
They’ll sit down and Summer will fill Sharon in on what Jordan did to Harrison and Sharon will be shocked. And she’ll recommend a therapist for him. After Sharon and Summer leave, Nick will show up. He and Phyllis will discuss their daughter, and what Summer went through when Patti Williams made sure she ingested peanuts, knowing she was allergic to them.
Phyllis will say she wishes she could have seen Jordan die. She knows it’s mean, but she would have liked to have watched her drown and take her last breath, on her way to hell. Then she’ll tell Nick she regrets she didn’t get a chance to take Jordan down herself.
At the Abbott estate, Diane will ask Jack where he was all night. He’ll say he wants to tell her everything but she needs to hear him out before she reacts. “Because I don’t think you’re gonna like what I have to say.” So, he’ll tell her he spent the night with a sloshed Nikki at the Athletic Club.

“I tried everything I could to get through to her but she was just so detached, so defeated.” He’ll add he couldn’t do anything to pull her back from the cliff she was on. “I failed her as a sponsor, I had to do something to save her.” But Kyle will walk downstairs and Jack will say he and Diane need some time alone and although he’ll be suspicious, he’ll eventually leave.
Jack will continue his story, telling Diane Nikki was going to drink herself into oblivion. And the only thing that might jolt her was joining her. “That’s hardly extreme and I can’t imagine that it worked,” Diane will comment.
“That’s when I made the second decision, to get some opioids,” Jack will tell her. “I made the phone call and the pills were delivered.” And Diane will be taken aback when Jack says he popped some. She’ll ask how he could do that to himself. “How could you do that to me?”
Diane will also ask how he didn’t know it wasn’t laced with something. But Jack will say he called his old dealer. “I haven’t talked to him in years but his stuff is pure.” Sure, he took a risk but it paid off – Nikki is going to rehab. “No wonder you didn’t want Kyle to know about this,” an angry Diane will reply. “You put Nikki Newman’s sobriety above your own.”
She’ll tell him he may think what he did was noble. “But you know what? I think it was selfish.” She’ll say what if she’d woken up today to news that he OD’d in a hotel suite with Nikki. Then she’ll ask what triggered Nikki’s wake up call. “I passed out and it scared her sober. She’s the one that called the EMT’s.”
“Oh my God, you really could have died!” Diane will exclaim. “You risked your life to save Nikki. Didn’t you stop and think about me for one minute?” But Jack will tell Diane she means everything to him and he never wants to lose her. But will this incident cause a rift in their marriage?
