The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, September 18 reveals Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will plant a smooch on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Also coming up, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will express her worries to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Plus, Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) portrait will go back up on the wall at Newman Enterprises. And Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will promise to smooth the waters.
Y&R spoilers tease Victor will have Victoria’s portrait taken down and his put back up in its place. He’ll gaze at it and pump his fist. Then he’ll pour himself a drink and raise his glass, as Nate watches. They’ll exchange greetings and Nate will say he didn’t see it coming and neither did Victoria. “I just felt like taking it over again,” Victor will reply. And Nate will tell him he’ll do anything he can to make the transition go smoothly.

“Do you think she’s planning to retaliate?” Victor will ask. But Nate will say she didn’t mention any retaliatory thoughts. However, he’ll also admit he’s not comfortable being put in the middle of it. “As long as you’re willing to smooth over the waters with Victoria, we are good,” Victor will tell him.
At Society, Nikki will assume Victoria must be mad at Victor. “I’m much more than mad,” Victoria will reply. “I’m worried as hell.” She’ll say Victor keeps changing his mind about everything. “He’s acting irrationally.” But Nikki will tell her she’s being unfair. “I’m beginning to wonder if dad is not capable of running his own empire anymore,” Victoria will reply.
Victoria will tell Nikki she blames Adam for most of it. “It’s one self serving betrayal after another,” she’ll say. “And maybe all of that has just built up in dad and pushed him too far and his business sense has gone right out the window.” But Nikki thinks she’s taking things out of context. She’ll tell Victoria to let her worry about Victor’s health. “Don’t worry, we’re not going to lose your father. I got this.”
When Nikki gets home, she’ll ask Victor to delay taking over for a month, suggesting they take a vacation. “We need it for our mental health, our physical health and Victoria’s peace of mind.” But will he agree?
Young And The Restless Scoop – Victoria’s Portrait Is Gone
Meanwhile, Victoria will walk into the CEO office and won’t be pleased when she sees two glasses on his desk. Then she’ll look up and discover Victor has taken down her portrait and replaced it with his. “I don’t deserve this daddy,” she’ll say.
At the Jazz Club, Adam will drink and recall his conversation with Victor. He’ll chuckle to himself and Sally will walk in. “Care to share the joke?” she’ll ask. He’ll say he was thinking about his father. “I’ve finally gotten the wake up call I’ve needed for years,” Adam will tell her. “I’m ready to grow up and I’m even looking forward to it.” He’ll say he was about to go have dinner and she’ll say she hasn’t had anything to eat all day and her stomach is grumbling.
But Adam will ask if she’s inviting him to have dinner with her and she’ll tell him she is. After they sit down upstairs, they’ll joke around and Sally will say they’ve come a long way, since losing Ava. They’ll polish off a bottle of champagne and she’ll comment that it’s past her bedtime. She’ll also agree to let him walk her to her door. Adam will thank her for hanging out with him. “I miss my friend,” he’ll say. “I miss my friend too,” Sally will reply.
Finally, once they get to Sally’s door, Adam will impulsively kiss her goodnight, and Sally won’t stop him. He’ll apologize and ask if they can pretend it never happened. “Pretend what never happened?” she’ll say, chuckling. But are Adam and Sally headed for a reunion?
