Young And The Restless Scoop: Nick and Victor argue

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, January 31 suggests Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will tell his father not to make him choose between Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Newman Enterprises.

Also coming up, Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will make things clear to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Plus, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will express his concerns to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). And Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will get a warning from a surprising source.

Y&R spoilers tease Kyle will walk into his father’s office and ask him just how close he and Diane are getting. Jack will ask what had him so worried. “You’ve tried this before it has always blown up. After all this time, how do you know you two will be a good fit this time?” Jack will say he understands, he felt the same way when Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) returned. But he’ll also assure his son there is no need to worry.

Y&R Daily Scoop – Summer Says It’s Mama Bear Instinct

Meanwhile, Diane will ask how Summer feels about her relationship with Jack. “I really don’t want to see Kyle caught in the fallout when things go wrong,” she’ll reply. “Which I’m pretty certain that they will go wrong.” But Diane will say the only thing she sees getting in their way is Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Summer will tell Diane not to be too worried about her mother. Phyllis only goes on the offensive when she feels like someone she loves is being threatened.

Y&R Scoop: Summer faces off with Diane

“It’s the mama bear instinct.” Summer will say she herself shares that quality. “And Kyle and Harrison are my world, their happiness means everything to me,” she’ll tell Diane. “So if someone hurts them…” Diane will take heed of the warning. A little later, Phyllis will show up and tell Summer she’s heading to Portugal to convince Heather to take Daniel Romalotti (Michael Grazaidei) back. “That is a monumental bad idea,” Summer will reply. “Daniel is not going to be happy about this.”

Over at Newman, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will admit to Nick that he spoke to Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). “I’m mad at you and I’m disappointed in Jill,” Nick will say. “Why are you trying to destroy Sally?” Victor will tell his son that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) ruins lives. He’ll say she ruined his brother’s life. Nick will ask what he’s planning for Adam. But then he’ll guess he’s planning to sabotage Adam’s career at Jabot. And Victor won’t deny it.

Young And The Restless Scoop – Nick Gives Adam A Heads Up

Nick will also tell Victor he loves working with his mother and sister. “But if you continue down this path and continue to harass Sally, given everything, do not force me to choose between her and this company.” Victor will ask what he means by given everything. However, Nick won’t get a chance to answer, because Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will interrupt them.

Y&R Scoop: Nick tells Adam about Victor's plot

At Society, Adam will be confused when he overhears Sally and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) talking about him. But they’ll blow him off and Sally will ask Chloe what she’s going to do when she starts showing. “The longer I can keep Adam from suspecting, the better.” Nick will arrive and a suspicious Adam will watch them together from the bar.

Finally, Sally will get a call she has to take and Nick will saunter over to his brother and give him a heads up about Victor. “He’s gonna try and sabotage your position at Jabot so Jack kicks you to the curb,” Nick will say. “And dad will be there to welcome you with open arms.”
