Young And The Restless Scoop Friday, December 9: Diane Packs Her Things – Chance Moves Out – Nate Is Suspicious Of Devon’s Breakup With Amanda

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop suggests Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will decide to go into hiding.

Also coming up, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be suspicious. Plus, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will move out of the Chancellor mansion. And an angry Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will face off with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).

Y&R spoilers tease Nate will run into Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) at Society. He’ll apologize to her again for what he did. “I don’t know how you could betray us like that,” she’ll respond. Nate will say Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) played a part in what he did. Then Lily will admit she wants to get over it, but she’ll advise Nate not to push it.

Y&R Daily Scoop – Chance Has Accepted That It’s Over

Devon will arrive and Nate will stop him. “I heard Amanda was staying in Virginia,” he’ll say. “Did something happen between you two?” Devon will tell him it’s none of his business. Lily and Devon will grab a table. She’ll say Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) still wants to go ahead with the IPO. He’ll glance over at Nate and Lily will say he wants their forgiveness. “Is Nate betraying us any worse than what you did to Amanda?” she’ll ask. Devon will be stunned. “Nate doesn’t deserve our forgiveness because what he did was calculated,” he’ll reply. “What Abby and I did just happened.”

Speaking of Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), Chance will tell his soon to be ex-wife all his things are packed. He’ll pick up his son and hug him, while Abby cries. As he starts to leave, Abby will say she’s so sorry. Chance will tell her he’s sorry too. He’ll say they need different things to make them happy and they can’t give each other that. “I’ve accepted that it’s over and I hope you can too.”

Meanwhile, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will tell Jack he used Diane rather shamelessly, so he holds no animosity. “You should know that,” he’ll say to her. “I never mentioned your name to the FBI, not once. I protected you.” He’ll say there’s a financial situation they need to discuss. “How much?” Jack will ask. “How much will it cost for you to leave Diane alone?” Stark will say it’s between he and Diane and Jack will tell him to leave. “After meeting him, I am even more worried about your safety,” Jack will tell Diane.

Young And The Restless Scoop – Diane Slaps Tucker’s Face

When they return to the Abbott estate, Diane will ask Jack if he thinks her plan will work. He’ll say yes, but he hates that they have to do it. “So Kyle takes you to the cabin, gets you settled in there, he comes back here, you lay low there and Stark thinks you fled in fear,” Jack will say. Once again, they’ll embrace and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will walk in.

They’ll move to the door and Diane will say goodbye to Jack and tell him she appreciates everything he’s done. Then he’ll turn to Ashley. “I hope you’re happy. Diane is leaving town, thanks to you and your friends.” Ashley will say Diane leaving town is the best solution. “Let’s be clear,” Jack will tell her. “She didn’t go out of town. She was forced out of town.”

Finally, Diane will return to the hotel, only to run into Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). She’ll say she hopes he’s happy – she has to leave town because Stark is breathing down her neck. “Hey, do you need money or anything to help you get on your feet?” he’ll ask sarcastically, and Diane will slap him. Then she’ll pack her suitcase, sit on the bed and hold a photo of her, Jack and their son.
