The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop reveals Tricia Cast will be returning to the soap as Nina Webster.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Daytime Emmy Award winning actress will be back in early November and will then return for the Y&R’s 12,000th episode during the week of November 30.

Nina is Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) mother and Christine “Cricket” Williams’ (Lauralee Bell) best friend. Cast joined the Y&R in 1986 and won an Emmy in 1992 for Outstanding Younger Actress.

Young And The Restless News – Lauralee Bell Is Excited Tricia Cast Is Returning

And her best friend on the show is thrilled to have her back. “Some good news in 2020. Couldn’t be more excited that @triciacast is back as Nina on @YandR_CBS,” Bell tweeted earlier today.

Fans were also quick to express their excitement about the news. “This makes me VERY HAPPY,” one fan said. “Can she bring her other son Ronan with her?” “This is so AWESOME!!!” another fan commented. “Can’t wait!!!”

One of Cast’s last appearances was at Katherine Chancellor’s (the late Jeanne Cooper) memorial service back in 2013. The last time she appeared on the CBS soap was in August 2014. Of course, viewers also saw her in many of the classic Y&R episodes that aired during the summer.

Young And The Restless News – Will Viewers Also See More Of Christine And Paul Williams?

One thing’s for sure, she will definitely be interested in catching up with Chance. But will she approve of his romance with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway)?
