The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, April 24 suggests this week’s flashback Friday episode will focus on Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and Christine Williams’ (Lauralee Bell) 1996 Caribbean honeymoon.
Also coming up on Friday, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is also conveniently in Nevis, with Dr. Tim Reid (Aaron Lustig). She will spot the newlyweds and decide to ruin their trip in any way she can, in this episode that originally aired in August, 1996. “I can’t believe this, my first real vacation in 10 years and look who’s here,” Phyllis says to herself as she’s swimming. “You will be very sorry Christine, you will be very, very sorry.”
Paul and Cricket, or The Bug, as Phyllis loves to call her, were having a great time on their getaway in Nevis, taking in the warm weather, the ocean and the beach. And as the couple were enjoying their honeymoon, feeding each other fruit, Phyllis watched them through binoculars. She had other plans in store for them.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nick Newman Insists On Holding A Family Dinner
Later, Phyllis put on a disguise and sneaked into their honeymoon suite as they showered. When Cricket left the bathroom and slipped into bed, she started screaming. Paul ran out and found a dead octopus in their bed. When the hotel manager told them it was probably just a prank, they decided not to let it ruin their honeymoon.

Other storylines in this episode involved Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) telling his father Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that he and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) wanted to celebrate their six month anniversary with the family.
Victor informed him that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) was out of town. Nick told his father he didn’t want to postpone the dinner. Then Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) told her mother that she and Nick were going to have his family over for dinner. They were planning to announce that they were having a child.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Next Week Features Katherine The Great Episodes
As many viewers are aware, the Y&R has run out of original episodes to air. This is due to a halt in production because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But that doesn’t mean CBS is going to leave fans in the lurch. Y&R will feature theme weeks based on classic storylines and characters.
The show’s first theme week, starting on Monday, is entitled Katherine The Great and will feature episodes based on the late Jeanne Cooper’s epic character. Viewers will be treated to episodes that go back as far as 1990.
