Spoilers tease that after his confrontation with Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), Charlie will seek out Claire. He’ll plead with her to believe him that he’s not the one who sexually assaulted Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).
As he pours his heart out to her, she’ll feel conflicted. Claire had developed strong feelings for Charlie and was extremely upset when he was accused of attacking her cousin. Of course, Charlie will be lying through his teeth.

Soon enough, with Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) support, Allie will undergo hypnosis so she can uncover her memories of the night she was attacked. No doubt, she’ll ask Marlena Evans (Deirdre Hall) to put her under. Then she’ll get a clear vision of her rapist and it’ll be none other than Charlie.
There are also spoilers circulating that point to a shooting on DOOL next week. Will the victim be Charlie and if so, who is the shooter? There’ll suspects galore, including Allie, Tripp and even Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), who is set to return to Salem soon.

However, this week Charlie will try his best to convince Claire to trust him when he tells her he’s innocent. When he was recently brought in for questioning, he’d told Claire he was happy to hear her call him her boyfriend.
“It means so much to me to know that you’re still on my side. You are still on my side, right?” he asked. At the time, Claire wasn’t sure what to believe. Will she stick by Charlie now?
