Chrishell Stause believes her split from Justin Hartley may be all about the money.
According to TMZ, Stause, who played Jordan Ridgeway on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL), is confidentially disputing the date of their separation. Hartley listed the separation as July 8, 2019, whereas Stause claims the date was November 22, 2019, the same day Hartley filed for divorce.
News of the couple’s date of separation came as a surprise to many, as they had been seen together publicly many times in the past few months and even attended the Emmy Awards in September as a couple.

“Well #ThisIsUs didn’t take home the trophy but I am taking him home so looks like I am the big winner tonight!” Stause wrote on her Instagram, shortly after the awards ceremony.
They were also photographed together smiling only a week before the news broke about their split.
The couple met through one of Stause’s DOOL co-stars in 2013 and were married on October 28, 2017. It was Stause’s first marriage and Hartley’s second, he had previously been married to Lindsay Korman, his co-star on the soap Passions, from 2004 to 2012.

Sources close to Stause say she feels that Hartley pre-dating the divorce papers may help him out financially. Her lawyer, Samantha Spector, has requested spousal support for Stause, which Hartley apparently isn’t interested in paying.
Hartley has played Kevin Pearson on the hit show This Is Us since 2016. He had previously portrayed Adam Newman on the Young And The Restless (Y&R) from 2014 to 2016.
Stause had played Jordan on DOOL on and off from 2013 to 2019. She got her start on soaps as Amanda Dillon on All My Children in 2005. She played the role up until the sudser was cancelled in 2011. The actress also appeared as Bethany Bryant, co-starring with Hartley, on the Y&R in 2016. Stause currently stars in the Netflix reality show Selling Sunset.
