Bold And The Beautiful (B&B) stars Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) can’t wait to return to filming. Both actors recently discussed what the quarantine has been like for them and when they’re hoping they’ll be back onscreen.
“We’re really, really itching to get back in there and give you guys more story,” Clifton recently told viewers on Twitter. “But we want to stay safe too, and even when we do go back there’s going to be a lot of protocol that wasn’t in place before. We’re going to have to do things a lot differently.”
Wood said she is staying positive and has appreciated the extra time she’s had with her husband and young son. She also mentioned that no one at B&B had any idea how long the current production halt would last.
Bold And The Beautiful Scoop – A More Organized Shoot With A Smaller Crew
“We thought we were coming back,” she told TshisaLIVE. “When we were filming, we had no idea about the gravity of Covid-19 and assumed we would be coming back right away.”

One thing Wood is sure of is that the protocols for filming will likely change. “I am kind of navigating this, so I don’t really know,” she said. “I think behind the scenes there will be a skeleton crew, or smaller crew, and I guess more organized with how we shoot, with audio and directors and making sure we wash our hands and cleanliness around the studio.”
“We might even have to film things a bit differently, where you know, we’re not necessarily in such close proximity in the scenes,” Clifton noted. “I assume you as our fans would understand that.”
Bold And The Beautiful Scoop – There Is Still No Word On When Filming Will Resume
He also mentioned that B&B producers had been hoping for a return to production in mid-May. And although some businesses have reopened in Los Angeles, there’s still been no word on when filming could resume.
“We’re dying to get back to work,” he shared. “But we’re going to do it safely and intelligently.” Just when that may be is still up in the air. The Soap Scoop will keep you posted.
